BEACON 2001 first show
2001, March 01st, Beacon Theatre, New York NY, USA

CD1: 1.Silva Halo - 2.Planet Earth - 3.Playing With Uranium - 4.Union Of The Snake - 5.Come Undone - 6.Notorious - 7.White Lines - 8.Girls On Film - 9.Mars Meets Venus - 10.Michael
CD2: 1.I Don't Want Your Love - 2.Hallucinating Elvis - 3.Hungry Like The Wolf - 4.Electric Barbarella - 5.A View To A Kill - 6.The Reflex - 7.Ordinary World - 8.Rio

Audio Quality: EXCELLENT AUDIENCE (au10) perfect recording
Notes: This is the second show of the 2001 Tour, and the first of two shows the guys played in New York. I think this is the definitive Up Close Tour bootleg. The audio quality is superb, like it was a soundboard recording! The tracklist is complete, and includes most of the highlights of that tour, such as "I Don't Want Your Love", "Michael" and "Union Of The Snake", that the guys had not been playing live for many years. "Planet Earth" is my favourite performance on this CD. The day after, during the second night at the Beacon, Nile Rodgers appeared as special guest for three songs.

BEACON 2001 second show
2001, March 02nd, Beacon Theatre, New York NY, USA

CD1: 1.Silva Halo - 2. Union Of The Snake - 3.Last Day On Earth - 4.Ordinary World - 5.Come Undone - 6.Hungry Like The Wolf - 7.White Lines - 8.Mars Meets Venus - 9.Save A Prayer
CD2: 1.Michael - 2.I Don't Want Your Love - 3.All She Wants Is - 4.A View To A Kill - 5.Rio - 6.Notorious * - 7.Skin Trade * - 8.The Wild Boys *

Audio Quality: EXCELLENT AUDIENCE (au10) perfect recording
Notes: This is of course a worth having bootleg! The recording is superb (it sounds like a soundboard bootleg!) and the show is great... and the most important thing here is that NILE RODGERS appeared as guest, playing three songs with the guys at the end of the show. They played together "Notorious" and "Skin Trade", off the Notorious album - that Nile produced and recorded with the band (do you remember? Nile appeared as the DD guitarist on the "Notorious" video); they also played together "The Wild Boys", that was remixed by Nile back in 1984! But why Nile Rodgers was with the guys that night? Maybe... because they meet up to plain something about the reunion!

TUNICA 2001
2001, March 08th, Horseshoe Casino, Tunica MS, USA

CD1: 1.Silva Halo - 2.Union Of The Snake - 3.Notorious - 4.Playing With Uranium - 5.Come Undone - 6.Anyone Out There - 7.White Lines - 8.Mars Meets Venus - 9.Girls on Film
CD2: 1.Michael - 2.I Don't Want Your Love - 3.A View To A Kill - 4.The Reflex - 5.Ordinary World - 6.Rio

Audio Quality: VERY GOOD AUDIENCE (au9)
Notes: A good recording; the show is a little shorter than the other Up Close shows, featuring just 15 songs instead of 18 or 19; I don't know the reason why the guys decided to play a shorter concert. "Anyone Out There" is my favourite moment in this bootleg; and i also love the final sequence with four super hits: "A View To A Kill", "The Reflex" and "Ordinary World" and "Rio" (as the encores) are the way that the guys choiced that night to say goodbay to the crowd!

MYRTLE BEACH 2001
2001, March 11th, House Of Blues, Myrtle Beach SC, USA

CD1: 1.Silva Halo - 2.Union Of The Snake - 3.Anyone Out There - 4.Playing With Uranium - 5.Come Undone - 6.Notorious - 7.Hungry Like The Wolf - 8.Girls On Film - 9.Pop Trash Movie - 10.Lonely In Your Nightmare - 11.I Don't Want Your Love - 12.White Lines
CD2: 1.Electric Barbarella - 2.Skin Trade - 3.A View To A Kill - 4.The Reflex - 5.Ordinary World - 6.Rio

Audio Quality: EXCELLENT AUDIENCE (au10)
Notes: LONELY IN YOUR NIGHTMARE is there! The guys played this song during the Up Close Tour 19 years after the "Rio World Tour" (1982), when "Lonely In Your Nightmare" was every night in the setlist, and 18 years after the last performance of that song, played at the Aston Villa Football Ground in Birmingham, on July 27th, 1983. This is an acoustic version of the song, really nice. And this is a good reason to trade for this cd!

BREAKFAST WITH DURAN DURAN
2001, March 14th, Earthlink 99x Live, Atlanta GE, USA - morning show

1.Come Undone - 2.Interview - 3.Hallucinating Elvis - 4.Interview 2 - 5.Crystal Ship - 6.Interview 3 - 7.Michael - 8.Interview 4 - 9.Hungry Like The Wolf

Audio Quality: GOOD SOUNDBOARD (sb8)
Notes: This is anot a regular concert, but a morning show broadcasted on radio and on internet. The cd contains the full broadcast, including the interviews and five live performed songs; the most important thing is the inclusion on the set of "Crystal Ship". They never played that song during the 2001 tour, nor during the Pop trash 2000 tour! So this is a very rare performance, and I think that every collector should have it!

LADY XANAX IN ATLANTA
2001, March 16th, House Of Blues, Atlanta GA, USA

CD1: 1.Silva Halo - 2.Union Of The Snake - 3.Anyone Out There - 4.Lava Lamp - 5.Come Undone - 6.Skin Trade - 7.Hungry Like The Wolf - 8.All She Wants Is - 9.LADY XANAX - 10. I Don't Want Your Love - 11.Girls On Film - 12.Hallucinating Elvis - 13.Ordinary World - 14.The Wild Boys - 15.White Lines
CD2: 1.Audience Noise - 2.Notorious Intro - 3.Notorious - 4.The Reflex - 5.Audience Noise 2 - 6.Rio

Audio Quality: EXCELLENT AUDIENCE (au10)
Notes: I don't need too many words to talk about this cd: this recording is a worth having stuff for every collector because LADY XANAX was played LIVE that night (for the very first and last time!!). So, this is the unique chance to hear that song in a live version. The recording is excellent and the setlist is complete... would you more?

CHICAGO 2001 first night
2001, March 20th, House Of Blues, Chicago IL, USA

CD1: 1.Intro - 2.Silva Halo - 3.Union Of The Snake - 4.Anyone Out There? - 5.Mars Meets Venus - 6.Come Undone - 7. Notorious - 8.Hungry Like The Wolf - 9.Hallucinating Elvis - 10.Ordinary World
CD2: 1.Lonely In Your Nightmare - 2.I Don't Want Your Love - 3.Girls On Film - 4.Skin Trade - 5.Too Much Information - 6.Rio - 7.White Lines - 8.The Reflex

Audio Quality: VERY GOOD AUDIENCE (au9)
Notes: This is the first of five show that the guys played at the House Of Blues in Chicago. The tracklist is complete, and "Lonely In Your Nightmare" is here! The audio quality is very good, "I Don't Want Your Love" and "Anyone Out There" are my favourites. "Girls On Film" includes a long and powerfull Joe Travers drum solo. Joe told that he was very happy having the chance to play that beautiful solo.

CHICAGO 2001 second night
2001, March 21st, House Of Blues, Chicago IL, USA

CD1: 1.Intro - 2.Silva Halo - 3.Union Of The Snake - 4.Hungry Like The Wolf - 5.Playing With Uranium - 6.Come Undone - 7.All She Wants Is - 8.Girls On Film - 9.Pop Trash Movie - 10.Michael
CD2: 1.I Don't Want Your Love - 2.White Lines - 3.Electric Barbarella - 4.Notorious - 5.Skin Trade - 6.A View To A Kill - 7.The Wild Boys - 8.Ordinary World - 9.Rio

Audio Quality: VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT AUDIENCE (au9/10)
Notes: The full recording of the second night in Chicago is here. The show is great, and "Electric Barbarella" and "Pop Trash Movie" were in the setlist that night. The also played a beautiful version of "Michael", that wasn't in the show of the day before.

LAS VEGAS 2001 first night
2001, March 30th, House Of Blues, Las Vegas NV, USA

CD1: 1.Silva Halo - 2.Union Of The Snake (restarts 3 times!) - 3.Anyone Out There - 4.Playing With Uranium - 5.Come Undone - 6.Notorious - 7.Michael - 8.I Don't Want Your Love - 9.Girls On Film
CD2: 1.Mars Meets Venus - 2.Ordinary World - 3.Skin Trade - 4.Electric Barbarella - 5.A View To A Kill - 6.Hungry Like The Wolf - 7.The Reflex - 8.White Lines - 9.Rio

Audio Quality: VERY GOOD AUDIENCE (au9)
Notes: After three concerts in Anaheim, Duran Duran played a couple of shows in Las Vegas, before coming back to Anaheim for the last US Up Close Tour show. Some particular things happened during this Las Vegas first show. "Union Of The Snake", placed at the beginning of the concert, restarted three times. "Skin Trade", "Playing With Uranium", "Michael" and "A View To A Kill" were in the setlist that night. A good CD for your collection.

LAS VEGAS 2001 second night
2001, March 31st, House Of Blues, Las Vegas NV, USA

CD1: 1.Silva Halo - 2.Union Of The Snake - 3.Planet Earth - 4.Playing With Uranium - 5.Come Undone - 6.Hungry Like The Wolf - 7.Secret Oktober - 8.Pop Trash Movie - 9.I Don't Want Your Love - 10.Girls On Film
CD2: 1.White Lines - 2.Lava Lamp - 3.Skin Trade - 4.Notorious - 5.All She Wants Is - 6.A View To A Kill - 7.The Wild Boys - 8.Ordinary World - 9.Rio

Audio Quality: VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT AUDIENCE (au9/10)
Notes: The second and last night in Las Vegas. The following night, they were going to end their US tour in Anaheim. The setlist of that concert includes "Secret Oktober" and "Lava Lamp", which aren't in most of the 2001 bootlegs. "Secret Oktober" is really nice, performed in its slow version. "Ordinary World" is at the end of the show, before the last song, that was "Rio". The audio quality is very good.

TOKYO 2001 first night
2001, June 17th, International Forum, Tokyo, Japan

CD1: 1.Fragments-Kiss Goodbye - 2.Last Day On Earth - 3.Hungry Like The Wolf - 4.Planet Earth - 5.Playing With Uranium - 6.Come Undone - 7.Anyone Out There - 8.Save A Prayer - 9.Union Of The Snake - 10.Hallucinating Elvis - 11.White Lines - 12.Mars Meets Venus
CD2: 1.Skin Trade - 2.All She Wants Is - 3.Notorious - 4.A View To A Kill - 5.The Wild Boys - 6.Ordinary World - 7.Girls On Film - 8.Rio

Audio Quality: VERY GOOD AUDIENCE (au9)
Notes: More than two and half months after the end of the american Up Close Tour, the guys flied in Japan to play three gigs. In May, on duranduran.com, Simon and Nick announced the next phase of Duran Duran: the Reunion with all the original five members. So, these three Japanese shows are the last ones with Warren on guitar and Joe and Wes on drums and bass. The setlist tonight is different from the Up Close american shows, and seems to be the setlist of a Pop Trash Tour show. The only difference is the inclusion of "Union Of The Snake", that was never played during the Pop Trash Tour.

TOKYO 2001 second night
2001, June 19th, Shibuya-Ax, Tokyo, Japan

CD1: 1.Planet Earth - 2.Hungry Like The Wolf - 3.Playing With Uranium - 4.Come Undone - 5.Anyone Out There - 6.Mars Meets Venus - 7.Girls On Film - 8.Save A Prayer - 9.Hallcinating Elvis - 10.White Lines - 11.Lava Lamp - 12.All She Wants Is
CD2: 1.I Don't Want Your Love - 2.A View To A Kill - 3.Too Much Information - 4.The Reflex - 5.Ordinary World - 6.Notorious - 7.Rio

Audio Quality: VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT AUDIENCE (au9/10)
Notes: The second Japanese show has a very interesting setlist, created with a strange drag'n'drop of the Pop Trash Tour and the Up Close Tour setlists. It's funny to see how both the opening songs of these two tours ("Last Day On Earth" and "Silva Halo") are missing tonight. The show starts with the first ever single that they released,"Planet Earth". Four songs from the Pop Trash album are played, and lots of hits are there.

THANK YOU WARREN
2001, June 22nd, Kokusai Kaikan, Kobe, Japan

CD1: 1.Fragments-Kiss Goodbye - 2.Last Day On Earth - 2.Union Of The Snake - 3.Hungry Like The Wolf - 4.Playing With Uranium - 5.Come Undone - 6.Anyone Out There - 7.Pop Trash Movie - 8.Girls On Film - 9.Save A Prayer - 10.Hallucinating Elvis
CD2: 1.White Lines - 2.Mars Meets Venus - 3.All She Wants Is - 4.I Don't Want Your Love - 5.Notorious - 6.A View To A Kill - 7.The Reflex - 8.Thank you Warren , Joe and Wes - 9.Ordinary World - 10.The Wild Boys - 11.Rio

Audio Quality: EXCELLENT AUDIENCE (au10)
Notes: This is the last ever show featuring Warren Cuccurullo on lead guitar as permanent member. The recording quality is excellent, and I think that this bootleg is a must for every Duran Duran fan. The setlist starts with the Pop Trash Tour opening song, "Last Day On Earth", and features five Pop Trash songs with lots of hits.
